One of my favourite authors shares a lovely story about the Power of Words; it?s short, clever and very much indicates the point that we believe what we hear. Let?s look at what happens when we turn this around, when we use words to encourage, inspire and motivate ? what more could we achieve. This links to the essence of coaching, whether it be life coaching, business coaching, sports coaching, the aim is to break the barriers of our limiting thoughts and beliefs; it doesn?t matter where they came from or how long you?ve had them, work with someone who helps you see and believe differently and you will change your outcomes. Think about your own life, where you hold back and the belief behind that? and see if you can start to find rational reasons why this is no longer true and you no longer need to live by that old belief.
